Mission
The mission of NOHSIC is to support the development of a regional healthcare workforce pipeline. The organization is implementing employer-based strategies to achieve outcomes that support its mission.
2012-2013 Priorities:
- Increase program capacity for new, incumbent, and future healthcare workers with a goal of continuing and/or implementing at least 7 programs engaging NOHSIC as the lead or through partnerships in the community by December 2013;
- Increase NOHSIC funding by an overall amount of 25% in comparison to a baseline taken in December 2011 and by December 2013;
- Increase community awareness of NOHSIC by an increase in the number of website "hits" by 10% by December 2013 and media coverage (TV, Radio, and/or Newspaper) of 4 focused stories annually;
- Increase the number of federal, state, and local civic leadership meetings from a baseline of 2011;
