NOHSIC is dedicated to supporting a regional healthcare workforce pipeline and employes intiatives and strategies that seek to develop three sectors for workers.
- New Workers : Specialized programs for targeted populations who are new to the healthcare industry or who NOHSIC seeks to re-engage back into the healthcare industry
- Incumbent Workers: Programs dedicated to advancing the skills of the workforce already within our systems and building upon their experience by promoting their educational development
- Future Workers : Developing our youth beginning as young as the 5th grade with education and experiences to expose them to healthcare careers and encourage their interest in working for our systems
